As we had announced earlier, we will be offer you the DNS Service for Free with every Domain that you purchase from the 5th of April, 2009.
Control Panel Changes:
As the DNS Service will no longer be a purchasable Product, the following changes will be made to the Control Panel:
- To access the Free DNS Service, you will need to navigate to the product management console of the associated Product and click on the ‘Free DNS Service’ button that will be displayed. From the interface that opens, you will be able to activate the DNS service and then add and manage records.
- To search for the Free DNS Service, you will need to search for the Product Order that is associated with it.
- We will be providing you with a separate interface to allow you to manage DNS packages that are currently not associated with any other Product that we offer. We will provide more information on the same in our coming announcements.
Changes to System Emails:
Emails that go out to you from the system upon a successful Domain Name Registration, will be updated to include a sidebar with information on the various Free Services offered with every Domain. This will help inform you of all the Free Services available to you and add value to your purchase.
The Free DNS Service is the first of a whole suite of Free Services that we will be offering with Domains for no cost at all.
