The Custom DLL feature on our Windows Hosting Service will be deprecated on the 17th of November, 2009. On analyzing the Windows Hosting Product, it was found that the Custom DLL feature poses a security threat and could affect the stability of our services.

Impact: Since the usage of the Custom DLL feature across our platform is extremely minimal (less than 1%), there will not be a grave technical or commercial impact on your Windows Hosting offering.

• The Custom DLL feature will not be available on all Windows Hosting packages purchased after the 17th of November.
• Existing orders will not be affected by this deprecation.
• DotNet DLLs will not be affected by this change.
• The pre-installed DLLs that can be found here, will continue to be available after the deprecation.
